A message from the Office of the Associate Vice-President, Finance and Operations
Dear colleagues,
Please be aware that the BC Wildfire Service (BCWS) will periodically be using the Commons Field at UBCO as a temporary helicopter landing zone in support of its wildfire efforts in the region. As you may already know, campus is hosting BCWS personnel in student accommodations, and the helicopter will be used primarily to transport personnel between campus and BCWS front-line operations.
