UBC Heat men’s volleyball player, Mark Broome, is one of the selected athletes to attend a training camp for the National Volleyball Team.
Coach Greg Poitras is pleased that his fourth year right-side has been selected adding, “This is a great opportunity for Mark; he has been here for four years, every year improving his volleyball skills. For him to be in a position, to be considered for a team like this, is a real testament to his off-season and in-season training regime. This camp will also give Mark exposure to a very high level of volleyball. The team will certainly be able use Mark’s experiences and veteran leadership this fall as we enter Canada West.”
