10:44 a.m. - University of Victoria Vikes (UVic) def. the UBC Okanagan Heat: 36-0
2:50 p.m. - UBC Okanagan Heat def. the Royal Military College of Canada (RMC): 29-12
5:50 p.m. - Mount Royal University Cougars def. the UBC Okanagan Heat: 33-5
The UBC Okanagan men’s squad finished ninth after Day One with one win and two losses. Pool play is now completed and the Heat just missed the quarterfinals, they will now play for final tournament seeding on Saturday. The Heat will first face the University of Saskatchewan Huskies at 10:06 a.m., and then if the Heat win versus the Huskies they will then face the winner of the other seeding match that features the University of Regina Cougars or RMC. The UBC Okanagan game if they win will be at 12:22 p.m., if they lose they will face the loser of the Regina - RMC match at 12:00 p.m., that will be their final match of the championships.

4:00 p.m. – UBC Thunderbirds def. the UBC Okanagan Heat: 26-0
6:56 p.m. - University of Victoria Vikes (Team 1) def. the UBC Okanagan Heat: 12-0
The UBC Okanagan women’s squad finished Day One with one win and three losses. Pool play will not be completed until tomorrow morning, as such the Heat will have to wait to see if and/or where they are seeded in the semi-finals (top four teams make the semis, and the fifth place team will be eliminated).
The women’s team will know their fate by 9:45 a.m. Saturday morning, after the completion of the final two women’s pool games.
If they qualify the women’s semi-finals are at: 12:44 p.m. and 1:06 p.m., the medal games are at: 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
