Bowl Semi-Final: Humber College Hawks def. UBC Okanagan Heat 38-14
11th Seed: University of Saskatchewan Huskies def. UBC Okanagan Heat 14-10
A big hit by sweeper Antun Peko Bosnjak of the Heat set the tone early, but the larger and faster Hawks got the better of the Heat over the course of UBC Okanagan's first game of Day 2 at the National University Rugby Championships. The Bowl semi-final got away from the Heat early, and they were unable to recover vs. a veteran Humber squad who strolled to a 38-14 victory.
UBC Okanagan would wrap up Day 2 versus the University of Saskatchewan Huskies to decide the 11th seed of the tournament. The Heat would settle for 12th seed in the tournament after a hard-fought battle versus the Huskies to conclude the tournament.

Shield Pool Play Game 1: UBC Okanagan Heat def. Humber College Hawks 17-15
Shield Pool Play Game 2: University of Victoria Vikes def. UBC Okanagan Heat 31-0
Humber would score the first three tries of the game, but would not score again, as the UBC Okanagan Heat shored up the defense in a big way to storm all the way back versus the Hawks 17-15. Lauren Beany would take a great ball off the foot of Kristin Vidi to score the first try for the Heat in the dying seconds of the first half. Vidi would then set up Jordan Pittman for the Heat's second try early in the second half. Jasmine Doll would put the emphatic finish on the match, as she bowled over not one, but two Hawks players on her way to the third and final try of the game for the Heat.
The second game would be a little different, however. The Heat would meet the Vikes again after a Day One meeting in Pool D. The Heat were unable to score a try versus the Vikes, who once again downed the Heat en route to the 31-0 victory.
