Meanwhile, the Huskies concluded their preseason with a win versus the Calgary Dinos on October 26th, winning 89-64.

The Cougars opened the season versus cross-town rival Calgary, with each team winning on their home court. The first game, held at Kenyon Court at Mount Royal, saw the Cougars win the final three sets of the match to win 3-2, while the Dinos exacted revenge the following night on their home-court 3-2.
As for the Heat, the season-opening series versus the Thompson Rivers WolfPack proved to be a bit of a cake-walk for the fourth-ranked team in the nation, who stormed Kamloops to earn a straight set victory, then returned home to defend home court in straight sets as well.
Heat versus Cougars is set for 1 p.m. on both Saturday, November 2nd, and Sunday, November 3rd, with both matches being held at UBC Okanagan Gymnasium.

On Friday evening at UBC’s Okanagan campus Gymnasium, the WolfPack were able to storm back in sets to defeat the Heat 3-0, and the Heat were unable to disband the ‘Pack in Kamloops the following evening in a 3-1 loss.
Heat versus Royals is set for Saturday, November 2nd, and Sunday, November 3rd at UBC’s Okanagan campus Gymnasium, with both games scheduled for 3 p.m.
