This Friday and Satruday nights UBC Okanagan will play some twilight soccer as the Heat start at 6 p.m. both nights versus the UNBC Timberwolves on the Nonis Turf.

KELOWNA, B.C – After being unable to get a point out of their opening two games of the season, UBC Okanagan will be once again look to capitalize on their home turf advantage and post wins this weekend.
The Heat men's soccer team will play to host to the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) Timberwolves for back-to-back matches. A 6 p.m. start time on the Nonis Sports Field for both the Friday and Saturday (Sept. 18-19) matches.
The first two games of the season were a struggle offensively for UBC Okanagan, they failed to score a goal in their two losses, losing to the Cascades (2-0) on their openerand the (1-0) to Trinity Western on Sunday.
Players to Watch out for : Tait Cuthill (13 saves this season) , Enzo Paal (5 goals last season // 5 goals in the preseason)
Key Performer : Tait Cuthill has been right on top of his game for the opening two fixtures of the season, managing to make an astounding 13 saves on the weekend. The sqaud will be reliant on Cuthill’s pair of hands for his side’s home fixtures as the Heat will look to register their first win of the season this weekend.
UNBC The Timberwolves were unable to successfully open their account in their opening two fixtures away at Victoria. The side will be looking to get some points as they travel to the Okanagan this weekend.
Head to Head (UNBC): The last time the two sides met, it was UNBC who came out on top the first fixture, only to be leveled by the Heat in the next one. The record now stands at 1-1 between the two sides last season.
Players to Watch out for : Matt Jubinville (2 goals this season) , Francesco Bartolillo ( 1 goal this season ).
Key Player : Matt Jubinville has already found the net on two occasions in one single game against Victoria and will be looking to do the same when his side play the Heat this weekend. The coach will be depending on the talismanic striker’s goal scoring prowess as his side attempt to get their first win this season.
