In the second competition on the PACWEST tour the men and women Heat golfers will host the conference at the Bear Course of the Okanagan Golf Club this Saturday and Sunday (Sep 17 - 18).

KELOWNA, BC - Week two for the Heat golfers will be on their home course the Okanagan Golf Club this Saturday and Sunday (Sept. 17-18), this is the fourth straight year the OGC will host a PACWEST event, last year the club hosted week one of the tour on Sept 12-13, 2016.
In last years event the UBC Okanagan won the men's side as James shot a pair of '70s' to capture his first tournament win. Carolyn Lee was the only female golfer to shoot under 80 with a 78 on day-two to run away with the tournament.
Casorso is back on the team this season and is looking forward to scoring well on his home track after his men's team faltered on the second day last weekend in Abbotsford and now sit in fourth place in the standings.
Lee is no longer with the squad so third year golfer Emily Adams and three local golfers: Lauren Siemers and Jessica Kozak, both returning members, and newcomer McKenna Lesiuk will try to use the familiar links to overtake rival Fraser Valley for top spot in the conference.
The tournament will get underway on Saturday on both the No. 1 and No. 10 holes at 12:36 p.m. The final round will start on the first hole tee box on Sunday morning at 10:03 a.m.
With Casorso on the men's team will be returning golfers: Jacob Stewart (Calgary, AB), Oliver Rizun (Squamish, BC), Derek Graham (Kelowna, BC), Grant Dollevoet (Kelowna, BC), and Joshua Evans (Calgary, AB) who returns after a year off and newcomer, Naoki Takahashi.
Returning to the links for the UBC Okanagan women is Emily Adams (Ladysmith, BC), and Jessica Kozak (West Kelowna, BC) are back and will be joined by newcomer McKenna Lesiuk (Kelowna, BC).
