This Week for the Heat: The UBC Okanagan women are on the road this weekend, travelling to Edmonton to take on the MacEwan Griffins on Friday and Saturday.
Current Form: With a conference record of 3-13, the Heat women are currently in 15th in the Canada West standings. They are coming off of a weekend split against the Lethbridge Pronghorns last weekend, and will be looking to move past MacEwan in the standings towards one of the three remaining playoff spots.
Team Stat: With a pair of wins this weekend the Heat would pull into a tie for the final spot in the playoffs. UBCO has more wins on the road than at home this season (2-1). The Heat have continued their success at the charity stripe, and currently sit fifth in the conference in free throw percentage, at 74%.
