Heat earn first Canada West playoff victory in school history with win over Brandon

Serving and a combined team effort were key to the Heat's victory Thursday night in Brandon. The Heat will look to earn the series victory Friday evening from the HLC at 5 pm PST.

Jim Bell had 11 kills for the Heat, but a few points at crucial junctures in the match saw the game go the way of the Bisons 3-1. UBC Okanagan will return home for their final weekend series of the season, upcoming on February 7th and 8th.
