Slow start doom Heat in 95-70 loss to Mountaineers
Kelowna, BC - Eight first-half turnovers, coupled with cold shooting, stalled the Heat offense in the beginning portions of the game and they could not recover, as the Seattle Mountaineers cruised to the 95-70 victory Sunday from UBC Okanagan Gymnasium.
"I thought we had some good moments in the game, especially from our younger players," said Heat head coach Pete Guarasci following the game. "But I think we still have a lot to work on."
