Heat fall on the road to No. 3 Manitoba Bisons

A strong effort over the holidays didn't help as the Heat faced one of the top teams in the country on their home court. Ultimately the UBC Okanagan men's volleyball team fell to the No. 3 Manitoba Bisons in three sets. These two play again on Saturday at 1 p.m. PST.

Nate Speijer has been in beast mode all year for UBC Okanagan. The fifth year outside hitter from Penticton had 51 kills on 115 attempts, 32 service attempts, and if you couint the attacks that didn't result in a point Speijer took close to 200 swings this weekend in 10 sets versus Winnipeg. Totaling 58 points.
