Unranked UBC Okanagan nearly matches the Bobcats in kills, but an impenetrable blocking wall proved too tough to break as the Heat drop their final game. Jim Bell has match high 13 kills.

Heat fall in four sets to feisty Cougars

Two important volleyball matches this week for the Heat. First up on Thursday night the Thompson Rivers WolfPack visit UBC Okanagan to play the No. 2 UBC Okanagan Heat with first serve at 6 p.m. The same two will play again on Saturday in Kamloops at 5 p.m.

Despite 21 blocks, Heat can't stop Gunter, 'Pack, in loss

On the road in Kamloops Saturday night, the UBC Okanagna Heat were doused from being up 2-0 to drop the match in five sets. Gunter powers through with 25 kills to lift the Cougars despite 21 blocks from the Heat defense.
