It took five sets Friday night in Kelowna, but for the first time in Canada West conference play UBC Okanagan bested the Calgary Dinos.

Despite the loss the UBC Okanagan heat out blocked the Spartans 10-6 on Friday night.

No. 3 Trinity closes out the Heat in three sets Friday

The Spartans would not be upset by a Heat squad who was need of a little extra firepower to come even with the Spartans, who downed the home squad in a hard fought sweep.
