Heat drop second last game of the year to WolfPack
Kamloops, B.C. - The UBC Okanagan Heat were unable to overcame the emotion of the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack on seniors night, playing for a playoff berth and the 39 turnovers the Heat committed and missing three quarters of the shots they had taken, falling to TRU 80-42. With the win the WolfPack put themselves into the playoffs for the first time in their seven year CIS history.
"We are not going to win a game like that," commented Heat head coach Heather Semeniuk when looking at her stats sheet and seeing the 39 turnovers and the 25 percent shooting
