In this time of curriculum change Nelson offers K-7 educators a suite of made-in-BC resources designed to support inquiry-based learning in Science, Mathematics, Social Studies, and English Language Arts.

Our new print and digital resources are designed to help you uncover the big ideas, core and curricular competencies, and updated content learning standards for each subject area.

Research Presentation and Panel Discuss

Living Democracy: Examining the vital connections between education and engaged citizenship.

Dr. Catherine Broom, Dr. Christopher Martin and Dr. Margaret Macintyre Latta will be presenting research on Canadian democracy and recent publications.

Kyle Hamilton and Ryan Holly, teachers from School District 23, will also be presenting about their work on citizenship, democracy and social justice through education.
