New Client Services Manager and staff join Finance Operations and Strategies

By Finance Operations and Strategies on July 17, 2018

Finance Operations and Strategies is excited to welcome two new staff members and a new Client Services Manager.

Brydie Chamberlain has joined UBC’s Okanagan campus as Payroll and Benefits Specialist

Brydie Chamberlain is a certified payroll manager with many years experience with Interior Health and Impark. Her experience also includes processing payroll and benefits in both unionized and non-unionized environments, working with her customers to troubleshoot payroll issues and documenting payroll processes. Given her experiences with implementation of new systems, Chamberlain will be participating in the Integrated Renewal Project (WorkDay) payroll workshops.

Natalie Kirkwood has joined UBC Okanagan to support payroll and benefits processing on a term basis

Natalie Kirkwood has worked previously with payroll processing at UBC Vancouver and her most recent experience comes from Interior Health where she coordinated administrative support and design as well as payroll training. Kirkwood’s experience will also contribute to improving the service delivery and increase training capabilities Finance Operations and Strategies is able to provide.

Chris Munro starts on July 30 as the new Client Services Manager

Chris Munro is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Certified General Accountant and a Supply Chain Management Professional. He joins us from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology where he was the Director of Supply Chain Management. Munro has extensive experience working closely with payroll and accounts payable at Vancouver Island University as well as guiding senior leadership with developing and implementing financial best practices.

Munro's leadership and experience with system changes will help support the procurement changes, the WorkDay implementation and provide strong direction to the payroll and procurement team.
