Graduate student competitors present research in 3MT Final

Students, faculty, staff and the Okanagan community are invited to watch the Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) final on March 14.

The 3MT is an exciting showcase of graduate student research at UBC Okanagan.

After weeks of preparing and competing in 3MT heats, graduate students from across campus will be presenting their research in the 3MT final. Hosted by Rick Webber of Global TV, 3MT is a public showcase of graduate student research at UBC's Okanagan campus.

Participants have just three minutes to explain the breadth and significance of their research project to a non-specialist audience.  There is expected to be at least eight graduate students making presentations in the competition and there will also be a special guest speaker.
