Rose Ceremony celebrates 2014 School of Nursing graduates

The annual School of Nursing Rose Ceremony is a tradition that celebrates the accomplishments of graduating nursing students.

Who: Nursing students, friends, and family
When: 1:00pm, Saturday, June 7, 2014
Where: Evangel Church, 3261 Gordon Drive, Kelowna B.C.

The Rose Ceremony is marked by the School of Nursing’s presentation of a red rose, symbolizing respect and appreciation, to each nursing graduate. Nursing graduates may also choose to be presented with a nursing pin – a traditional symbol of the school’s philosophy and welcoming into the nursing profession. The event  is attended by family and friends, as well as faculty and staff of the School of Nursing to celebrate the graduates as they embark on their nursing profession.
