The UBC Okanagan department formerly known as IT, Media & Classroom Services has been re-named to UBC Information Technology (IT) Okanagan. This name change reflects a more integrated and aligned approach to IT services between the two campuses.
We may have a new name but it’s still the same, local support team to help with all of your IT needs – from printing on campus, to using Zoom, to purchasing a new UBC supported device.
This summer we also launched a new UBC IT Okanagan website to help you more easily access the services and support you need.
Find guides to all our services (1), how to access the right team to support you (2) or contact the help desk to report an incident or request help (3).
Check out the News & Updates page (4) for the latest IT news or bulletins which may impact you.
Visit our Knowledge base (5) for detailed guides on how to request IT Onboarding for new UBCO staff, how to find the asset tag of your computer, or how to manage a distribution list.

We have also moved our online helpdesk to the UBC Self-Service Portal, joining the UBC Okanagan’s Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) Helpdesk and the Integrated Services Centre after the launch of Workday. This provides an improved level of coordination and services by making it easier for staff and faculty in the Okanagan, and across UBC, to access a variety of UBC support services from a single website. This is an important step towards the goal of more integrated and aligned access to information technology (IT) and learning technology (LT) support services between the campuses.
