“You’re not at home anymore. Respect your campus and show it some love.”
The promotions are cheeky for the new Clean Spaces campaign, but they make a good point. The new campaign looks to remind students that they have a real stake in a clean campus, even appealing to students’ bottom line in the case of its vandalism messages.
The campaign targets three specific areas:
- Vandalism: alerting students that when vandalism occurs on campus, their student fees are paying for repairs.
- Smoking: asking students and others to be considerate of others and smoke in the designated gazebos on campus.
- Recycling: educating the campus community about the new recycling stations on campus.
The Clean Spaces campaign is an initiative from the Office of the AVP students in collaboration with Campus Life.
