Students can connect with over 40 companies on February 6 — including potential employers from the health care and high tech industries, government, banking, education, engineering firms, and a variety of other sectors.
Participating students will gain valuable job experience by introducing themselves to prospective employers and finding out how their own skills and interests fit with their organization. Students can also bring in their resumes and receive feedback from employers active in the Okanagan Young Professionals Collective.
The Career Fair will run from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm in the Engineering Management Education building and is free of charge. Students can make the most of the event by researching participating companies and arriving prepared to ask employers about their fields.
To help, staff and faculty can let students about the online preparation resources that the Advising and Involvement Centre has for the Career Fair.
