UBCcard partner program launched with select local businesses
Student Housing and Hospitality Services recently launched the UBCcard Partner Program, where select restaurants and services in Kelowna will accept a student’s UBCcard meal plan as a form of payment.
This new service provides students with a variety of off-campus food options and helps UBC students experience and support more local businesses.
The service is currently accepted at four restaurants in Kelowna: Momo Sushi, Okanagan Pizza, Ric’s Lounge and Grill and Café Borgata
Purchases at these places use the meal plan’s Flex Dollars and accept the UBCcard and supporting ID as payment. Transactions are processed in real-time and are deducted off a student’s meal plan balance.
