Campus Life would like to introduce Kirsty Rancier to the campus community. Rancier — a fourth-year management student — has been hired as this year’s Kick Start Orientation coordinator.
Kick Start is an extended orientation program designed to help new-to-UBC students from other regions of Canada explore their new surroundings, make friends and get prepared for university. The program helps these students settle into the community, meet faculty members, go on outdoor adventures and gain valuable tips for academic success.
Rancier has previously served as a Kick Start assistant and is the current Vice President of Corporate Relations for the Management Student Association. She brings a wealth of experience in the areas of student transition programs and event planning.
She will be available throughout the summer to answer questions from incoming students and their parents regarding the Kick Start program.
Members of the campus community are encouraged to connect with Rancier for partnership opportunities or questions related to the Kick Start program. She can be reached at 250-807-9841 or at kirsty.rancier@ubc.ca.
