New public outreach program to launch in January
In recognition of the new BC primary and secondary school Applied Design, Skills and Technologies curriculum — and the growing number of tech companies in the Okanagan — faculty members and several community members with education and computational science backgrounds have developed a foundational digital skills program for adults.
Offered in partnership with the Okanagan Regional Library, this free, six-part program introduces participants with little or no technical background to core computational thinking concepts.
