On September 1, 2018, parking rates will be increasing. The new rates can be viewed online at: parking.ok.ubc.ca/Parking_Rates/Monthly_Permit_Rates
With these increases, Parking Services reminds faculty and staff that now is the time to change parking lots if you are considering doing so. Lot changes are permitted until July 20. After that, Parking Services will not be able to exchange permits again until September 17 — after which the ability to switch will be based on availability.
Payroll permit renewals
All payroll permits expire on October 31, 2018. Since the permits are now virtual there is nothing permit holders need to do. New permits will automatically be renewed for the same lot as current permits.
Non-payroll deduction permits
If you are a staff or faculty member who is not on a payroll deduction for parking and will require a parking permit for the 2018/19 academic year, permits will be available for purchase online starting August 1.
