UBC Okanagan Senate permanently extends Winter Term 2 start date, length of fall reading week

Dear colleagues,

As you may recall, in November 2020 the Okanagan Senate made the decision to temporarily extend the start of the January 2021 Winter Term 2 by one week, in an effort to support our community’s mental and physical well-being.

That change was widely supported by students, faculty and staff alike.
