As the crisis in Ukraine deepens, I thought it important to send out a statement of solidarity with the people of Ukraine and a message encouraging empathy for all who are impacted by this terrible conflict.
As President Ono recently expressed, the university is deeply concerned about the situation in Ukraine and its impact on our students, faculty and staff. We encourage anyone requiring support—be it the services of our Global Engagement Office, Health and Wellness, the Employee & Family Assistance Program, or other services—to reach out without hesitation.
