Flags on UBC’s Okanagan campus will be lowered on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, in memory of Dr. Alex Janvier, C.M, D.Litt., who passed away on July 10. Dr. Janvier received an honorary degree from the Okanagan campus in 2017. Our sincere condolences to Dr. Janvier’s family, friends and colleagues.
