UBC’s newest Associate Academic Advisor should be a very familiar face to the Okanagan campus. Jamie Frezell — better known for her communications services skills and world travels — has taken on a new adventure this year as an acting associate advisor.
Jamie graduated from Simon Fraser University in 2008 with a Major in Communications, but it was her tireless work and advocacy for her co-curricular and co-op education programs that helped uncover her passion for higher education.
“I’m so excited to be with an organization like UBC, especially in the Okanagan,” says Jamie. “There are so many student success stories out there. With the right amount of career and educational planning and advice, there are no limits to what our students are capable of achieving.”
