The Amazing Race returns on Nov. 8

October 18, 2010

After last year’s success, the Amazing Race Health Challenge is returning to UBC on November 8.

This year’s challenges runs for five weeks with participants collecting points by competing in series of health challenges. Challenges might include exercising for 30 minutes, cooking something new, sorting out personal finances, completing a crossword puzzle or volunteering. A participant’s individual points can also count toward a team total.

Teams may range from three to 10 participants composed of UBC faculty and staff members.

The grand prize will be awarded to the team with the most points at the end of the challenge. There are also weekly draw prizes.
