Clean Spaces campaign reminds everyone to do the right thing

October 20, 2010

Clean Spaces campaign“You’re not at home anymore. Respect your campus and show it some love.”

The promotions are cheeky for the new Clean Spaces campaign, but they make a good point. The new campaign looks to remind students that they have a real stake in a clean campus, even appealing to students’ bottom line in the case of its vandalism messages.

The campaign targets three specific areas:

  • Vandalism: alerting students that when vandalism occurs on campus, their student fees are paying for repairs.
  • Smoking: asking students and others to be considerate of others and smoke in the designated gazebos on campus.
  • Recycling: educating the campus community about the new recycling stations on campus.

The Clean Spaces campaign is an initiative from the Office of the AVP students in collaboration with Campus Life.
