Members of the campus community have until November 15 to apply to the Equity Enhancement Fund — a program established to help provide funding for new initiatives designed to enhance equity at UBC.
Examples of previous funding initiatives include:
- hiring a consultant to design and offer diversity workshops for a unit’s specific needs
- purchasing resource material or funding invited speakers on diversity issues
- developing a program to enhance employment opportunities for historically disadvantaged groups
The Guidelines for the Fund can viewed on the Equity Enhancement Fund Guidelines website. The funding is available to any academic or administrative unit with the endorsement of the unit or department head.
