A workshop about the new Sustainable Community Development Internal Grant has been organized for the campus community on Tuesday, Jan. 18.
The workshop is focused on UBC faculty, staff and students, as well as staff from the City of Kelowna and members of the Glenmore community. Faculty members who plan to apply to the grant are encouraged to attend this workshop.

Workshop details
The purpose of this workshop is to:
- provide information about the new grant and the application process
- provide information about the City of Kelowna’s interest in the development of sustainable neighbourhoods and communities
- provide key points of contact within the Glenmore community and City of Kelowna staff for ongoing partnership and consultation throughout the process
- facilitate stakeholder and community engagement and dialogue about sustainability-related research and project opportunities that may qualify for funding under this grant
