PhD Candidate Evelyn Cornelissen has been awarded a Meeting, Planning, and Dissemination (MPD) grant from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research in the amount of $24,997.
Cornelissen is a leading member of the Knowledge Translation Trainee Collaborative (KTTC), a national collaborative that aims to facilitate collaborative learning and work, networking and professional development among the next generation of knowledge translation trainees, researchers and practitioners. The grant allows the KTTC to hold a second in-person meeting to help expand membership, strengthen the collaborative and work on additional projects.
Cornelissen’s doctoral research looks at implementing and using a health economic framework to facilitate evidence-informed decision making, and using action research as a mechanism for knowledge translation.
