Celebrate Outweek 2011

Celebrate Outweek 2011Join the campus community next week in supporting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, transexual, two-spirit and intersex (LGBTQTTI) students, faculty and staff. This is the Okanagan campus’ fifth-annual Outweek, being held February 7 to 11. These events are intended to raise awareness of LGBTQTTI issues as well as celebrate the diverse population at UBC.

The week kicks off at 12:30 p.m., with a reception for the Outweek art exhibition in the FINA gallery, followed by the annual Pride flag-raising and Outweek opening ceremony in the campus courtyard. The week’s events also include:

Film screening and discussion:

Closing of Fine Arts Gallery exhibit
