A number of changes are currently in the works for websites at the University of British Columbia, and the first significant changes went live on February 14.
UBC’s central online portal — UBC.ca — was relaunched on Monday with an increased access to Okanagan content, resources and information.
The system-wide portal now better reflects the two-campus reality at UBC. A number of branding and usability improvement are also under development — including significant changes that provide better context and indicators for Vancouver campus, Okanagan campus and system-wide content on all UBC websites.
In response to feedback from members of the campus community, the campus identifying colour themes have also been changed from brown to green on UBC.ca. This shift better reflects the landscape of the Okanagan, and will be implemented across all Okanagan campus websites in the coming weeks.
