What will your child choose to do at UBC this summer?

April 28, 2011

U Camp

UBC has a lot of interesting activities to offer children this summer.

Athletics and Recreation’s new U Camp offers week-long day camps for youth ages 7 to 11. Participants get to choose from themes such as Mini U, Kreative Kids, Multi-Sport and UBC Survivor.

This year’s featured U Camp is The Power of Being a Girl — an empowering week of leadership, team building and lifestyle skills for girls ages 11 to 14. Fun, fitness and friendship will also be emphasized.

Any UBC employees who register their children in two or more camps receive a 10 per cent discount. Early drop-off and late pick-up options are also available.

The popular Heat Athletics’ sport camps are also returning, offering instruction and conditioning in volleyball, basketball and soccer. The sport camps are for boys and girls ages 13 to 17, with the exception of soccer which is for girls ages 8 to 12.
