New Health Promotions showcase launched for Okanagan campus

July 6, 2011

The first edition of the Healthy UBC Okanagan campus newsletter has been launched and all employees are invited to find out more about how health and wellness is being championed at the Okanagan campus.

The new publication promotes and celebrates health and wellness in all its forms.

UBC employees will find articles on a variety of healthful activities, registration for healthy events, nutrition tips and recipes, as well as spotlights on faculty and staff members leading the way in healthy initiatives on campus.

The next issue is scheduled for September, along with a new Health Promotions blog that will be part of future editions. This edition was primarily supported by fourth-year Human Kinetics student Chelsey Nevue.

Any questions or suggestions regarding the newsletter should be directed to Tracey Hawthorn, WRAP Coordinator at 250-807-8183.
