By January 2013, support for WebCT Vista will be discontinued. With consultations from the campus community, UBC has chosen Blackboard Learn 9.1 to be the university’s next learning management system.
In January 2012, a pilot comprising a limited number of courses will take place. The following May, Blackboard Learn will begin to be phased in for all courses over the next two academic years. By the summer of 2014, WebCT Vista will no longer be available.
