Heat go head-to-head against the Thunderbirds this weekend
The upcoming weekend will be an historical one for the University of British Columbia as the Heat play the Thunderbirds for the very first time in a varsity event.
This Friday night the UBC Thunderbirds will travel to the Okanagan campus to take on the Heat men’s and women’s volleyball teams.
The women’s match is scheduled for Friday night at 6 p.m. when the Heat face the four-time defending national champions and the top team in the nation. The men will face off at 8 p.m. when the Heat look to continue their unbeaten run against the Thunderbirds.
