Next Monday is a day to reflect on what is on the inside.
Mirrors across campus will be covered with brown wrapping paper and spattered with inspiring, motivating quotes on November 21, as part of Mirrorless Monday — a day to increase knowledge of disordered eating and excessive exercise.
Mirrorless Monday is organized by the School of Health and Exercise Sciences as part of a new education campaign called PUMPS (Prevention, Understanding, Motivation, Power and Skills), organized by Mary Jung and Sally Stewart.
PUMPS is an on-campus education and support group. It aims to help people understand eating disorders and the importance of healthy attitudes towards body image, eating and physical activity.
