Fourth-year nursing students have organized a free foot-care clinic at Inn from the Cold. Working with Kelowna’s First United Church, these students are providing free foot-care services to a vulnerable and often overlooked population in Kelowna.
The students are setting up for their first clinic at Inn from the Cold on November 16 (tonight) from 7 to 9 p.m. The shelter is located at 1157 Sutherland Avenue in Kelowna, on the second floor of the Salvation Army Thrift Store building.
The students will be assisted by specialized foot nurses who were generous enough to provide their time, talent, supplies, and continual support.
Any suggestions, comments, questions, or donations for this project can be directed to nursing student Morag Gibb.
