Did you know that the Disability Resource Centre (DRC) has a Faculty Disability Liaison Network (FDLN) that meets regularly to discuss improvements for programming and services at UBC’s Okanagan?
This network is a great opportunity for scholars from a variety of departments and units to come together to share ideas and resources and address issues with the DRC.
Recent FDLN discussions have included: service improvements, exam processes as well as practical and meaningful ways to accommodate students with disabilities.
The next network meeting will be in May 2012.
