19th annual event organized for July 11-15
The 19th annual Canadian Undergraduate Mathematics Conference (CUMC) will be held at UBC’s Okanagan campus this year. CUMC — the largest event of its kind in North America — will attract well over 100 undergraduate students from across Canada to showcase undergraduate research in mathematics and related fields.
The conference will feature talks from several notable mathematicians — including UBC’s Heinz Bauschke, Canada Research Chair in in Convex Analysis and Optimization — as well as an Ex Nihilo winery tour and a Women in Math and Science dinner.
Registration is now open for this conference. To register or find out more, visit the CUMC website.
