Connect is the new learning management system replacing WebCT Vista. Connect runs on the BlackBoard Learn 9 platform and is now being used at UBC’s Okanagan campus.
To help faculty members with the transition from WebCT Vista to Connect, eLearning support hours will be extended during the first two weeks of September. Until September 14, emails sent to elearning.ubco@ubc.ca will be made a top priority and faculty members can expect a response within a few hours.
Extended support for faculty also includes a dedicated e-Learning support specialist who will be in the Centre for Teaching and Learning (room SCI200) for the rest of the week.
Extended drop-in support hours run today and tomorrow (September 5 and 6) from 8 a.m. to 12 noon and 1 to 7 p.m., and Friday (September 7) from 8 a.m. to 12 noon and 1 to 4:30 p.m.
