Call for volunteers: Winter Orientation

November 19, 2012

Campus Life, Aboriginal Programs and Services, as well as International Programs and Services are hosting the first-ever Winter Orientation for the 40 students joining UBC’s Okanagan campus in January 2013.

The Winter Orientation is planned for January 3, 2013, in the University Centre ballroom and will be a miniaturized version of the Create New Student Orientation in September. It will feature AVP Students Ian Cull, the UBC Students’ Union Okanagan, and a panel of current UBC students sharing their experiences, and tips and tricks.

Winter Orientation organizers are looking for UBC departments and individuals to help with welcoming students before the evening beings, and serving dinner.

To volunteer, of find out more, contact Student Event Coordinator Adam Goodwin at 250-807-9276.
