Next week, office ergonomic assessments are being offered for all employees with on-campus workstations.
The School of Health and Exercise Sciences is teaming up with the Department of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) to offer office ergonomic assessments from November 26 to 30. This applies to all staff, faculty and graduate students with on-campus workstations.
Trained third- and fourth-year Human Kinetics students will monitor participants work and provide a professional assessment on behalf of HSE.
The ergonomics program at the Okanagan campus ensures the health, safety and well-being of employees. It promotes optimal working postures and practices in order to reduce workplace musculoskeletal injuries.
