New program brings prospective students to the Okanagan
UBC thinks prospective students will be so impressed with the Okanagan campus, that Student Recruitment and Advising (SRA) is willing to fly them to British Columbia to visit in person.
Destination UBC — a new program created by SRA — gives Canadian students from outside of B.C. an opportunity to visit the UBC campus they’ve been admitted to for free.
The soon-to-be UBC students will come to campus to participate in UBC Welcomes You on May 25, a full-day introduction to life at UBC. Participants will get a chance to see the campus, meet current students and learn about their experiences, and get advice from UBC experts to help with the transition from high school to university.
