Ken Beckett
Facilities Management would like to congratulate Ken Beckett who was recently selected as the successful candidate for the new charge engineer position in the department.
Beckett is a fourth class engineer who has been with UBC’s Okanagan campus since December 2001. He came to UBC from the Glencoe Club in Calgary, where he was the operations assistant specializing in sports recreation facilities.
When Ken has a moment to rest, he enjoys hiking, photography and fishing. In a previous career Beckett also worked as a roadie for some well-known rock bands.
