June 25: Sidewalk closures near Science, Fipke Centre and Library buildings

Sidewalk closures near Science, Fipke Centre, and Library

Sidewalk closures near Science, Fipke Centre, and Library

On June 25 between 6:30 a.m. and 6 p.m., several sidewalk areas will be closed to public access to allow the removal and installation of the Science building’s rooftop chiller. This will impact certain entrances and exits from the Fipke Centre, Library and Science buildings.

For everyone’s safety, Facilities Management asks that the campus community to obey all signage and areas of closure during the duration of this project. Please allow extra time to take alternative routes to offices, classes, meetings, etc.

It will be important to note if the emergency exit normally used to exit work or study areas in these buildings may be affected. If so, everyone in these buildings should determine an alternate exit. Any questions about the sidewalk closures should be directed to Facilities Management at 250-807-8213.
